Diplomas

for graduates of the faculties mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, electrical engineering, physical technology, steel engineering or civil engineering.

Starting is possible at any time upon agreement with the person in charge.
You will receive the expert support you need.
We offer you the possibility of establishing a scientific work with relation to practice.  The independent and creative working on a practice related task will offer you a comprehensive insight into research in welding. You will profit from our good contacts to industry and universities.

There is the opportunity of a temporary job or a (limited) employment after the diploma project.

Depending on the type of topic, some focuses will result in the areas of test planning, the construction of devices, the execution of tests, the acquisition and processing of measuring values as well as materials testing.

The independent and creative collaboration on a practice related task will offer you a comprehensive insight into welding technological research work.

The fields of activity are among others: Set up and performance of tests (recording), materials testing, metallography, documentation, image processing etc.  
You will participate in the development of processes and equipment of fully mechanised welding processes, among others friction welding, resistance welding, stud welding, gas shielded welding (Gas metal arc welding, TIG, plasma), laser beam material processing or processing of matters concerning materials engineering and testing technology, respectively.
