DIN EN 1090-1- Steel structures and aluminium structures
The proof of conformity for steel components, aluminium components and the application of the CE-label demands - in addition to the conformity of the requirements of the EN 1090-1 - a certificate of the factory production control (FPC) and where applicable a welding certificate of the manufacturer of primary structures in steel and structural engineering from a notified body .
The GSI mbH with its branches and cooperating institutes checks as a notified body for supervising and certification of construction products acc. to EN 1090-1 the FPC-system within an initial inspection und the follow up inspections. This involves all relevant procedures of designing and manufacturing of primary steel and aluminium construction parts being evaluated according to completeness, operability and compliance with the requirements.
